ADAF plays the following key roles in advancing SDG 17:
We support capacity-building efforts by providing training, education, and skills development through our African Blue-Collar Entrepreneur Academy initiative to strengthen the ability of individuals to contribute to sustainable development.
We play an important role in mobilizing financial resources through our Africa Blue-Collar Entrepreneur Fund and directing them toward initiatives that support sustainable development. Whether through grants, investments, or partnerships with private-sector organizations.
We foster knowledge exchange and innovation by connecting individuals and organizations with best practices, research, and innovative solutions. Through our Africa Blue-Collar Entrepreneur Conference and Blue-Collar Entrepreneur network of Africa initiatives.
We play a role in advocacy by facilitating dialogue between different stakeholders on policy issues related to sustainable development. We help amplify the voices of economically disadvantaged groups and ensure that policies and decisions are inclusive, equitable, and sustainable.
We encourage the private sector to engage in Africa's Human Capital transition through partnerships, investments, and innovation.
We are instrumental in facilitating public-private partnerships that leverage the strengths of both sectors. By working with the private sector to address social challenges, they help ensure that economic development also supports environmental sustainability, social inclusion, and other SDG targets.
